Anne Johnston Gill Fine Art
As long as I can remember I have been painting. At the age of 13 I started selling my oil paintings both nationally and internationally. At the age of 18 I attended Edinburgh College of Art. However I decided my career lay elsewhere and I joined the RAF as an electronic techician.
I served my country for 12 years and went on to have 5 children. After a dream one night when my deceased father told me to stop being so stupid and to start painting again, I picked up my brushes and havent looked back since.
I now spend most of the year travelling throughout the UK exhibiting at several shows including The Royal Highland Show, The Game Fair, Cowdray Polo Club, Chester Art Fair and Olympia International Horse Show.
When Im not on the road I spend all day painting. My new venture is oil on reclaimed wood and ive recently started painting on wood and resin. All my products are produced in my studio in Berwick upon Tweed.
