I specialise in producing highly detailed coloured pencil, or graphite, portraits of British wildlife. I want to provide prints and Originals at affordable prices and love to be able to do this and the buzz I get when someone loves it enough to purchase my work.
I work with only the best materials I can find. I use a combination of Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran d'Ache and Pablo pencils, for their light fastness and archival quality. I currently use Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper which is 100% long fibre cotton, mould made paper, acid free and buffered against atmospheric contamination giving archival permanence.
The whole process from drawing the portraits, printing and mounting the prints is completed by myself to ensure I maintain the highest possible quality throughout.
Description
A portrait titled ‘Fearghas (Buildhe)’, of the just lovely and wet Highland, a beautiful sight across a field, and probably my only one as it took some time to complete!, has been printed onto archival slightly textured fine art paper using museum quality archival pigment ink that will last at least 100 years plus. The paper enables you to see every pencil mark that you would expect from the original artwork.
Each print will be personally signed, numbered and dated by me and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Each Print is mounted in Conservation Mount-board, to help protect the artwork, and are 1400 micron (1.4mm) thick and have a crisp 45 degree bevel on the inner edge.
Limited edition run of 150 A3 LARGE (Mounted to 16″x 20″)
Limited edition run of 150 A4 MEDIUM (Mounted to 11″x 14″)
