Description
This ancient breed of sheep originated from the Brecks an area of sandy heaths in Norfolk. Both ewes and rams have horns, though the rams can have very impressive large and spiralled versions.
The original acrylic painting was painted on a grey linen canvas which acted as a lovely mid-tone to work around.
This attractive sheep could suit a white, black or oak frame. I have shown an oak frame just as a suggestion.
